Nick Fury visits Tony at home, tells him he has become part of a bigger universe, and says he wants to talk about the "Avenger Initiative".
Fury reactivates the Avengers Initiative and brings in Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner and Tony to go after Loki.
This was Samuel L. Jackson's first appearance as Fury. The team he mentions in 2008 finally assembles four years later.
