E.V., Peter's new AI helper Reported
Peter works with a new AI assistant called E.V. Reviewers read it as Peter's answer to Tony Stark's J.A.R.V.I.S., the helper Tony relied on from the first Iron Man onward. If that holds, it is one more way the film shows Peter growing into the role Tony left behind.
Organic webbing, and a nod to "Peter 2" Reported
Peter ends up with webbing that comes from his own body, and he mentions that "Peter 2" has the same ability. That points back to No Way Home, where the three Spider-Men compared notes and Tobey Maguire's Peter turned out to make his own webs.
Bruce Banner teaches at Empire State University Reported
Banner turns up as a professor at Empire State University. ESU is a long-running fictional college in Marvel comics, first seen in The Amazing Spider-Man #31, and it is where comic Peter went to school.
The ASM-14 serial number Reported
Banner shows Peter the inhibitor that keeps him human, and its serial number reads ASM-14. That lines up with The Amazing Spider-Man #14, the 1964 issue where Spider-Man and the Hulk first met in the comics.
A Marvel intro about being forgotten Reported
The studio logo sequence is changed for this film. It shows moments with Peter and the people he loves, and he vanishes from each one. It fits the ending of No Way Home, where the whole world forgot who Peter Parker is.
